Beacon Medical Campus is a state-of-the-art therapy centre offering Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis for the treatment of patients with chronic renal failure. It is located in Beacon Court, Sandyford, Dublin, Ireland, with easy road and light rail access and is adjacent to Beacon Hospital, opening in 2007. With 31 in-centre state-of-the-art dialysis stations and four training suites, Beacon Renal provides revolutionary quality of service to patients in contemporary, relaxing surroundings.

Particular emphasis has been put on additional facilities for the patient, including individual entertainment centres with television, unique internet and telephone access, training and treatment information, support services and nurse monitored rest areas.

Beacon Renal welcomes visitors to Ireland and will endeaver to provide dialysis services where possible.

The centre is headed up by our three consultant nephrologists - Prof Alan Watson, Dr Peter Conlon and Dr. George Melotte - with a full medical and nursing back up team, including a full time staff physician.

Finalist Irish Healthcare Innovation Awards 2008 Beacon Renal is the first and only ambulatory dialysis unit in the world to be awarded JCI accreditation.
